The Legacy Reception and Legacy Gala serve as SC250 Charleston’s premier celebratory gathering, marking Carolina Day weekend with an elevated, immersive historical experience featuring music, movement, conversation, and hospitality.
Hosted at The Cooper and envisioned as a grand Revolutionary-era house in celebration, the evening invites guests to move freely through a series of richly programmed spaces, each offering its own atmosphere, entertainment, and social energy. Subtle interpretive elements, live performance, and thoughtfully curated moments will weave Charleston’s Revolutionary story throughout the evening, creating an experience that is both historically resonant and distinctly contemporary.
The celebration includes premier viewing of the Revolutionary Skies Drone Show, illuminating the night over the Cooper River in a choreographed journey through Carolina Day and Charleston’s defining place in Revolutionary history.
