Revolutionary Conversations: Legacy and Lineage

In partnership with the Gaillard Performing Arts Center, The International African American Museum, and the Gibbes is one of three locations for the “Revolutionary Conversations” series: three evenings of food and conversation in celebration of American 250. This community dialogue series is designed to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution by fostering inclusive, thought-provoking conversations about liberty, justice, memory, and resistance. Hosted by cultural institutions across Charleston, the series uses the values and contradictions of the Revolutionary Era as a catalyst for reflection and dialogue among diverse South Carolinians. Each conversation will be led and facilitated by Tina Singleton of Transformation Table.
