A meaningful Carolina Day commemoration honoring the 1776 victory at Sullivan’s Island and celebrating Charleston’s Revolutionary story with dignitaries, fife and drums, living battle demo, water salutes, wreath layings, musket and artillery demos, a flag program and much, much living-history experiences. 9 am: Fort Moultrie Visitor Center opens to the public

9 am - 4 pm: History Row and Living History Area available (Seaside of Fort Moultrie)

9:30 am: Moultrie Flag raising (Inside Fort Moultrie)

10 am: Artillery Firing demonstration (Adjacent to Fort Moultrie)

10:30 am: Musket Firing demonstration (Adjacent to Fort Moultrie)

11 am: Ranger Led History Talk with Q&A

12 pm: Artillery Firing demonstration (Adjacent to Fort Moultrie)

12:30 pm: Musket Firing demonstration (Adjacent to Fort Moultrie)

1 pm: Catawba Indian Nation - History 101 (Main Event Tent)

10:05 am: Official ceremony begins (Main Event Tent)

12 pm: Bells Across South Carolina (Church Bell ringing)

12 pm: Official ceremony concludes

The red line runs from Lucy Beckham High School (1560 Mathis Ferry Rd) and the blue line runs from Mount Pleasant Town Hall (100 Ann Edwards Ln). The shuttles are free and will operate from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm on both Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28.
